Despite the negativity of the article, if all you've got is a Wii (unlikely) this is better than nothing. If you have a PS3, 360 or stream with your computer you shouldn't even care about this.
I have to agree Aphe, with the notable exception of the Virtual Boy (which barely qualifies as a portable console) Nintendo is at its best here and I highly doubt they'll botch this thing.
I still have problems getting into MMOs, I'm just waiting for the right title, I wasn't able to fully enjoy RPGs until FF7.
Sadly, you're right Mushroomwig, and worse yet, those three things you listed aren't even soley reserved for gaming journalism either.
Like in every other medium of media, money talks.
Yeah, I was brainstorming some photo opportunities and I suddenly realized I had some old prescriptions in the ol' medicine cabinet.
The first step away from achievement point addiction is admitting you have a problem :)
Damn right, killing zombies never gets old. This was a very thorough walkthrough, too, by the way :)
"Perhaps one day the two cultural mediums will merge and produce a hybrid piece of entertainment that will marry them indefinitely"
I think we're already starting to see this with films based on video game franchises that are pure CGI. Uncharted 2 itself feels like a movie. I think its just a matter of time before we see the two mediums merge.
This article makes me want to lean closer to playing mafia wars, but like jpymai, the excessive updates keep me away.
While I'm not a fan of mafia wars (or any FB game for that matter)but this one may be worth a shot. At least its a franchise I recognize.
I like North as well, but part of the art of voice acting (not that I should know) is ability to do multiple voices.
The vertical cover was a great combat addition. In fact, I think it was the best aspect of the game. It seems that Capcom is committed to this game, with the DSi downloadable prequel.
I wouldn't be surprised if the game did just good enough to warrant a sequel, but I haven't really seen any sales numbers.
I still playing TMNT the arcade game on XMAS morning, one of my best holiday memories from my childhood!
Halo itself has already spread to books, action figures, a film rumored to be in the works, why not make a MMORPG out of it? Halo Wars and ODST have already proven you can expand the Halo franchise to other game forms.
Thanks for the tips, this was a really in depth guide
